The Light Up Initiative creates awareness and sensitization among the people of Taraba state on Shinmo 92.6fm, where they discussed at length what is happening, the current disasters caused by climate change, and how we can prevent further occurrences in the future. The callers were gifted with free solar lamps as they shared their own contribution and advise us to educate to spread the effects of climate change in other parts of the region. Light Up Africa initiative has a partnership with Urban Tree Revival initiative to seed women farmers in Taraba state with fruit seedlings and train them on how to plant in their various farms, with the fruit GPRS location will be recorded and saved and monitored gradually as time goes on.
