To accelerate global climate action, Ilorin Global Shapers initiated a campaign to help build resilience in Ilorin and scale climate action in 2022. The 8-point cost-effective action plan strategies include natural flood management, tree planting, separating rainwater from sewer water, bridging the digital divide in learning, creating and improving on flood warning mechanisms, constructing and maintaining good roads and drainage systems, creating awareness and having an emergency plan and flood plain zoning.
