Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him, the 10th International Conference on Water Resources and Arid Environment will be held from December 26 to 28, 2022, organized by King Saud University represented by the Prince Sultan Institute for Environment, Water and Desert Research, with the participation of the Prince Prize Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Water, Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charitable Foundation, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
The conference aims to develop knowledge and exchange information in the field of environment, water and desert, and benefit from modern technologies in studies of arid and semi-arid regions and their natural resources, in addition to exchanging experiences between decision-makers, experts and scientists; In order to find solutions to challenges related to water and the environment, the objectives and themes of this conference are also in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, especially in the field of its interest in the environment and the provision and preservation of water, and with the initiatives announced by the Kingdom, especially the Saudi Green Initiative.
A group of winners of the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water will participate in the scientific sessions of the conference to review the creative solutions and innovations under which they received the award and their latest research and scientific achievements, in addition to a group of prominent scientists and personalities to deliver lectures within the main themes of the conference, which include water resources and the arid environment. And the rationalization of water use and the use of modern technologies in studies of the arid environment and its natural resources.
