It started with the Nabq Reserve and then the South Sinai Reserves.
The youth of the city of Sharm el-Sheikh, the women of the local community of the reserve and a group of hotel workers participated in the cleanliness of the reserve.
The cleanliness of Sharm el-Sheikh and the South Sinai reserves are being implemented as part of the city’s preparations to host the COP27 climate change conference
It is also part of the activities to raise awareness of plastic damage in preparation for the activation of the decision of the Governor of South Sinai to prevent the use of single-use plastic bags, which is implemented by the Ministry of Environment in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and funded by the European Union and the Swiss government
