The project has a significant expansion since the young women leaders carry out synergies in their territories to bring together what they have learned and implement actions within their organizations and their activism spaces. Likewise, the media and press registered the valuable work they carry out at the territorial level, highlighting the participation of women in climate change issues and in the country’s public gender policy, as well as the publication of a document to be promoted to impulse the increasing of the effectiveness of climate adaptation with gender justice. The Women for Climate Justice project is incorporated into the One Young World Impact Report, mentioning the Barranquilla+20 Foundation, its sponsor, as an organization that has a Social Return on Investment Ratio of 1:55, that is, for every dollar invested, 55 dollars are returned.
