Adventurer Ali Abdo sets two Guinness World Records records for the longest ride in the world on an electric bike

Adventurer and environmental activist Ali Abdo succeeded in setting two records in the “Guinness Book of Records”, after making the longest trip in the world on an electric bike, within 30 days, which bore the name “Journey to Climate Summit 27”.
The first record was achieved by the Egyptian adventurer by recording the “longest trip on an electric bike within a country”, after he covered a distance of 9,759 km within 22 days of the start of the trip, which is a new record for the first time recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
And the second number is “The Longest Journey on an Electric Bike in History”, with a length of 12,742 thousand km within 29 days, as the trip started from Cairo, passed through all governorates of Egypt with the aim of raising youth awareness of climate changes, and ended in Sharm El-Sheikh while hosting the 27th Climate Conference.
Abdo said that the trip was an important challenge, and he and his assistant team had been preparing for the trip for about two years, which enabled him to achieve that result, which is an Egyptian achievement that increases the number of Egyptian records recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
Abdo added that during the record-breaking trip, he visited many schools, universities and clubs to raise youth awareness of the climate change crisis and how to address it. A documentary film was also filmed during the trip to show the opportunities, challenges and success stories associated with setting records with a simplified explanation of them with the aim of encouraging the endeavor. In the implementation of similar projects and initiatives, taking advantage of people’s interest in record numbers and media coverage of the event, explaining that the trip was sponsored by the Ministries of Youth, Sports, Environment, Planning, Economic Development and Military Production, in addition to the United Nations Development Program, the US Agency for International Development, the Our Earth Climate Foundation for Sustainable Development and many private sector companies.
The “Egyptian adventurer” expressed his great happiness for this personal achievement, as it is the fourth number that he records in the Guinness Book of Records in his name, with the aim of promoting the goals of sustainable development and highlighting the various initiatives and efforts that seek to achieve them, in addition to working to raise awareness of the goals of development. sustainable development and promote a number of initiatives that it seeks to achieve.
Abdo revealed that he is preparing to make a trip to the 28th Climate Summit, which is scheduled to be held in the UAE next year, indicating that the trip starts from Egypt to visit countries (Jordan – Saudi Arabia – Qatar – Bahrain – Kuwait – Oman) and ends in the United Arab Emirates, where the headquarters is located. Conference, stressing that the goal of the trip is to raise awareness of the goals of sustainable development, qualify youth, and highlight the efforts of countries to reach the 2030 plan, aiming to set a new record in the Guinness Book for the largest number of countries visited by electric bike.
He said that he used the same bike that he used to set the record for the longest distance on an electric bike within 24 hours in the new city of El Alamein in 2021, which is an EVA EsseEsse 9 electric bike with an electric motor of 80 kW, equivalent to 109 horsepower, and a torque of 180 Newton / meter. , with a top speed of 200 km/h electronically limited, and the highest category accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, while the EVA EsseEsse 9 is available with two options from the first batteries with a range of 440 km, which makes it the electric bike with the longest range. launch, and the second is 200 km, and its battery can be charged by a slow AC charger, or a DC fast charger with a capacity of 0 to 80% in 40 minutes, while the default life of the battery reaches 1200 cycles.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian adventurer Ali Abdo is an ambassador for sustainable development, the first Arab to set a record on a motorcycle in the Guinness Book of Records, and the first Arab to set a record on an electric bike in the Guinness Book as well.
